Wes Putnam and Hallelujah Night

posted in: Children, News, Pastor, Youth | 0

Clyde FUMC has an exciting week ahead! Sunday-Tuesday Wes Putnam, The Master’s Storyteller, will be at Clyde FUMC, with a special appearance Wednesday at Hallelujah Night.  Wes Putnam is a gifted musician and communicator who brings the stories of the Bible to life for his audiences of all ages through costume and drama. Wesley also leads BibleQuest, an energetic program for K-5th graders that rewards scripture memory and servanthood.

Each evening, while the children are in the Sanctuary with BibleQuest, appetizers will be served in the Fellowship Hall for parents, grandparents, and family. Please come enjoy fellowship and connect with new families that will be in attendance. At 6:45 the kiddos will grab a snack, afterwards we will experience family-friendly worship in the Sanctuary.  Wesley will be featured on stage at Hallelujah Night downtown as well! IF you are able to provide a snack one night or all three nights, it would be greatly appreciated. You can drop your snack off during the day or bring it with you each evening and plan to arrive at 5:45 PM. Please see the schedule of events below.

5th Sunday Celebration Potluck

posted in: Children, News, Pastor, Youth | 0

The month of September brings us another opportunity to feast together at the 5th Sunday Potluck. This month Clyde FUMC is excited to turn the 5th Sunday Potluck into a Mission themed challenge! Each Sunday School class has been challenged to participate as a group in some type of mission oriented task. We will hear about these missions as we celebrate the difference each Sunday School class has made in our church and community over the month of September at the 5th Sunday Potluck. If you would like to participate but you are not connected to a Sunday School class we can help! This would be a great opportunity to get plugged into a class or just join a great group of people for the month to complete the challenge. Contact the office at 325-893-4923 for additional information! You may also email the office at office@clydefumc.org.
